Camber Sands Parking

All our properties in Camber have parking for at least two cars. However if you have guests coming to visit for the day there is plenty of Camber Sands parking. If you are an early bird and get here before the crowds then some car parks and places are free. Parking is operated by Rother District council and there are 3 main car parks:

Camber Central – TN31 7RH

This is the car park for The Blue House. It is a Pay & Display / RingGo car park. From 1 April to 30 September the gates to the Central car park are locked at 8pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. It has direct flat access to the beach.

Old Lydd Road  – TN31 7RH

This is a pay and display/RingGo car park, close to Rye Bay Beach House and The Bach.

Western Car Park – TN31 7RB

This is a pay and display/RingGo car park close to The Recycled House and Barwon Heads. It has varying opening and closing times in Winter and Summer months. You will need to walk up and down the dune to get to the beach.

Free Parking

Broomhill Car Park. Free and open all year round. It is the first car park you come to if arriving from the Lydd road. Access to the beach is up some steps onto the sea wall and then there are wooden walkways onto the beach. Lots of people use this car park at high tide to swim.

On the main road through Camber is white marked parking bays. Visitors can park here all day free of charge. Please do not park outside of these areas, not only will you get a ticket but you hinder the flow of traffic in and out of Camber.

At certain peak times of the year there is also overflow Camber Sands parking in the field at the top of Farm Lane charged at a day rate.

We have created a handy Google Map guide with where to find the car parks and free parking zones.
